Blue Bonnets, Blue Sky, and a blue coffee table of course! The only thing blue I'm missing is the ocean....I can't get there soon enough. Anyways, I've had this antique drop-leaf table for awhile and finally got around to painting it. I used Annie Sloan chalk paint in Louis Blue.
I heavily distressed this piece to give an old farmhouse feel to it. Here are a couple before pictures:
As you can see, the finish was pretty worn. I am loving the finished product.
It's hard to see the true color from these pictures, it almost looks white.
Drop-leaf tables have so much character!
I haven't decided whether to keep this one or sell it yet....I am just going to enjoy it for a bit before I decide. :) I hope you all are enjoying your week! XoXo.
