I finally broke down and splurged on some Annie Sloan chalk paint. This side table was transformed from plain wood to a shabby chic masterpiece. (Tooting my own horn there!) I used Old White for the main color and Duck Egg for the details. Distressed with my electric sander and topped with furniture wax for extra protection.
